The 688 exchanges was assigned to this switch but has since been reassigned to COX Fibernet's Newport News switch. Huntington is also one an extremely small number of former Bell Atlantic office to retain its original signage. I'm not sure why this office has been spared the sign swaping treatment. Verizon has had no problem removing original C&P Telephone signage from other "heritage" offices in the state.
